Dan loved bass fishing, golf, hunting and shooting trap. Perhaps he was most happy laughing and talking with friends and family members, exchanging stories and songs. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren.
Dan is survived by his wife Linda; son Gene Swanson and his wife Kamie; grandchildren, Deegan, Shiloh and Max; brothers and sisters, Edna, Jean, Fern, Bob, Becky, Pete, George, John, Gordon and Billy. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Bohdi; his parents and one sister.
Visitation will be Monday, March 2, 2015 from 5-8pm at Conner-Hankins Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 11am at Conner-Hankins Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Custer-Herron Cemetery in Henderson.
