Susan E. “Sue” (Koontz) Wise, age 76, died Monday surrounded by her family after a short illness. Born in Greentown, she had lived in North Canton most of her life and was a 1954 graduate of Greentown High School. Sue had worked at Hummell's IGA and then retired from Acme. She was a member of Greentown United Methodist Church, Stark Rebekah Lodge No. 728, Hadassah Lodge I.O.O.F., Lake Grange, and Greentown Over Sixty. Survived by her husband, George H. Wise of the home; two daughters, Lisa S. and Lynda A. Wise of North Canton; son, Terry H. Wise of Canton; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Marge Koontz of Canton; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Lamiell Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Santomen officiating. Burial will be in Greentown Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 5-7 p.m. and Saturday from 10-11 a.m. Rebekah Lodge No. 727 will have a service Friday at 6:30 p.m.
