He was survived by his wife, Tressia "Terri" (Sweet) Acey (married September 6, 1980); his sons, Barry Wayne Acey and Ricky Allen Acey, both of Science Hill, Kentucky; his brother, Charles (and Wanda) Acey of Perryville, Kentucky; his sisters, Morene (and Jim) Wesley of Science Hill, Kentucky and Beulah Vaught of the Pulaski community; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Acey and Stella (Godbey) Acey.
Funeral services were held on February 20, 2008 at Science Hill United Methodist Church with Brother Troy Poff officiating.
Morris and Hislope Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
