He was born January 12, 1950, in Conway, Arkansas to the late Charles Ray Hardy and Olena Elizabeth Battles.
Mr. Hardy was an Army Veteran.
He is survived by one son, Lonnie Ray Hardy Jr. and Teresa Hardy both of Jacksonville; two brothers, Danny Hardy of Greenbrier and Mark Nettles of Maumelle; three grandsons, Brayden, Grant and Layne Hardy of Lonoke.
A funeral service will be held at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4th, 2015 with Brother James Wilson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Copperas Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Cadron Ridge Baptist Church (2980 Old Morrilton Hwy Conway, Arkansas.
