Roy Lee Berry, Sr., 76, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 11:35 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Ridgewood Health and Rehabilitation Center in Madisonville.
He was born on November 27, 1938 in Linden, TN to the late Harvey Lindsey Berry and Bessie Lou Berry. He was a United States Navy Veteran and was a retired minister. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Christine Stevens.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret V. Berry; daughters, Lee Ann (John) Bartlett, Lori Waddle, Lisa (James) Baker, Lu Ann (Mike) Richardson all of Madisonville and Leda (Danny) Vanhooser of Booneville, IN; son, Roy Lee (Sandi) Berry, Jr. of Dawson Springs, KY; fifteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Dalton Cemetery in Dalton, KY with Bro. Steve Rutherford officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.
