Patricia A. Bartholomew, 50, of 7 Greenwood Ave., Castanea, died Jan. 5, 2011 in the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born Sept. 8, 1960 in Lock Haven, a daughter of Robert and Gertrude Lynch Leathers who survive in Salona.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Bartholomew, March. 27. 2009, they were united in marriage on April 28, 2006.

Patty was a homemaker who was also a paralegal and had worked at Love Homes, Allentown Pa. She enjoyed reading, knitting, counter-cross stitching and crafting. She had attended Charlton Chapel.

Patty was a 1978 graduate of the Bald Eagle-Nittany High School.

In addition to her parents she is survived by two sons, Frank R. (Julie) Miller of Lancaster and Matthew P. Miller of Lock Haven; one brother Robert E. (Debra) Leathers Jr., of San Antonio TX. She was preceded in death by one sister, Gayle Marie Barton who died Jan 2., 2010.

Services were held Saturday Jan 8, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mill Hall. Officiating was Pastor Susan Champion.

Interment was in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Mill Hall.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, 111 Main St., Mill Hall. Arrangments entered to the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mill Hall.
