Harvey DeLong Jr., 77, died Wednesday at North Kansas City Memorial Hospital. He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa and had lived in the area 36 years. Mr. DeLong was a mechanic for for Trans World Airlines 30 years before he retired. He was a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say,the National Rifle Association, and the TWA Retirement Club. He was a member of the Platte Woods United Methodist Church.
