Her parents and husband, Eddie Matthew Curtis preceded her in death.
She was a lifelong resident of southeast Missouri and northeast Arkansas. She was a member of the Christian Tabernacle Church of Hardy, Ark. and a retired cook of the Pascola and Wardell, Mo., school systems.
Survivors include: one son, William and Carian Curtis of Hardy, Ar.; one daughter, Olliene Skaggs of West Plains, Mo.; one sister, Imogene Stultz of Hayti, Mo.; ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and niece, Helen Jaynes of Sikeston; nephew, Bob Jones of Hazelwood, Mo. and a host of other relatives throughout he two state area.
Services were held June 11, 1997 at 2 p.m. at the Bradshaw-Osburn Chapel in Hayti, Mo. with Rev. Herb Seibert officiating. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home of Hayti is in charge of services.
