Dean proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Muzzle Loaders Gun Club. He enjoyed collecting guns, model planes and loved boats.
On Jan. 22, 1970, Dean was united in marriage with Ngon T. (Nguyen) Winters, who survives him of the home. He is also survived by four children, Tom Winters and wife Nicole of Eureka Springs, Ann Campbell and husband David of Grandview, Leiah Winters--Sasser and husband Stan of Boulder, Colo., and Hung Winters and wife Tho of Orlando, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Bertha Winters.
