Bobby Holland (143135630)

Suggested edit: Bobby, better known as Poppy, was born in Salemburg, NC behind Slapout Store. The son of Orlando Lee Holland Sr. and Mildred Westbrook Holland. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Holland, his brother Orlando Lee Holland Jr., and his son, Tony Grossi. Poppy was a very compassionate man who dedicated his life to his family and helping others. He was the kind of person that people went to because of his integrity, trustworthiness, and intelligence (smart like Magnavox). An established businessman in his own right. He grew Holland's TV, a family business into a respected service provider throughout the southeastern United States with the love and support of his late wife Ginny. Even with these successes, he was a humble man who enjoyed the simple joys in life while always taking the time to bless those around him. His caring demeanor and smile were infectious and there are few who can recall a negative interaction during their time together. His love for family showed through in all that he did and was an example that molded future generations of those fortunate to have been in his presence. We gather today, not to mourn, but to remember a life well-lived despite the many challenges he faced. His family celebrating his life include 5 children, 8 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Children and Spouses: Scott Slauson; Janet Caldwell (Robert); Orlando Lee Holland III (Sheryl); Kathy Parris; Gwen Travis (Scott); Grandchildren: April Willard (Dale); Kelly Travis (Dallas Digges); Justin Parris (Jacquie); Barret Travis (Katie); Tory Anderson (Brian); Kimberlee Weiker (John); Clay Travis; Kaylee Holland. Great Grandchildren: Lauren, Jessie, Cameron, Claire, Jackson, Jamison, Levi, Gunnar, Waylon, Brycen, Hallie, Brooke and countless others he has included as family along the way.
