Robert Herman Swann, 91, Winchester, Indiana passed away Tuesday morning.

He was born October 12, 1923 in Cameron, West Virginia, the son of the late Herman and Agnus (Jobinger) Swann. Robert spent most of his life in Randolph County. He worked many years for Astral Caskets in Lynn, Indiana as plant supervisor before retiring in 1988. Robert was a WWII veteran serving in the United States Army. One of the highlights of his life was taking part in the Freedom Honor Flight to honor our World War II veterans.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Roach, Hagerstown, Indiana; Connie Armstrong, (husband-Michael), Winchester, Indiana; three granddaughters, Rebecca Dawn Auker, (husband-Dean), Hagerstown, Indiana; Stacy Marie Brown, (husband-Dave), Richmond, Indiana; Tammy Lynn Roark, (husband-Neil Jr.), Winchester, Indiana; six great-grandchildren, Mason Roark, Ashlynn Melton, Jordan and Joseph Auker, and Nickolas and Taylor Brown; and two brothers, Leon Moore, Lynn, Indiana; and David Moore, New Paris, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruby (Mills) Swann; great-granddaughter, Kaleigh Beth Brown; and two brothers, George Swann, and Lawrence Swann.

Services will be held at Oswalt Family Funeral Home, Winchester at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 with Pastor Keith Vincent officiating. Burial will follow in Spartanburg Cemetery.
