Minnie R. Marta, devoted wife of John Marta (dec. 1981) and loving mother of Theresa Marta Hersek (dec. 2002), died on March 10, 2008 while visiting family in the Long Beach area. She was 94. Minnie lived in Rodeo and Crockett for more than 65 years, and retired from C&H after more than 25 years. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Rodeo.
