James William Nelson was the son of the late William Aaron Nelson and Velma Abernathy Nelson. He departed this life February 26, 2015 in Jefferson County, AL.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife and the mother of his children, Ethel Porter Nelson; sisters, Eloise Nelson Wright and Lyndall Nelson Harbin.
He is survived by his wife; two sons; one daughter; one brother; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.∼Mr William Nelson, age 82, of Fayette, Alabama, passed away 26 Feb 2015 at UAB Hospital. Funeral services will be held Sunday, 1 Mar 2015 at 2 pm from Nelson Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church Cemetary. The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm at the funeral home.
