Pam West, 60, of Grain Valley, Mo., passed away February 25, 2015, after an 11-year battle with cancer. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, Mo. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 2, at the Suburban Chapel, with burial to follow at Blue Springs Cemetery. Pam was born March 6, 1954, in Kansas City, Mo., to Floyd and Georgie (Bearden) VanDolah. She co- founded Bill West Roofing, where she worked for over 20 years. She was passionate about raising dogs and monkeys, and absolutely adored her grandchildren. Pam was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Bill West; six children, Aaron West, Meghann Zanga, Madison West, Afton West, Jordan West and Nicole West; mother, Georgie Wilmarth; one brother, Christopher VanDolah; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; and her many friends.
