Freddie "Kay" Hennig Snody Cooper, 73, a retired registrar clerk for Tarrant County College, died Saturday, May 13, 2006, in Ruidoso, N.M.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Highland Church of Christ, Fort Worth. Graveside service: 3 p.m. in Restland Cemetery, Olney. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Blessing Funeral Home.

Freddie was born in Olney on April 9, 1933, the daughter of Dollie and Jess Hennig. She married Clyde Snody on Sept. 14, 1950; he preceded her in death April 13, 1970. Freddie married Arthur Cooper on Sept. 21, 1974. She retired in 1995.

Freddie was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, T.E. Faver; sister, Blanch Cooper; and grandson, Justin Williams.

Survivors: Husband, Arthur W. Cooper; daughters, Janis Matthews and husband, Gregg, and Susan Williams and husband, Phil; stepson, John Cooper and wife, Sherrie; grandchildren, Julie Moore and husband, Eric, Kimberly Roark and husband, Alec, Sarah Kay Matthews, Megan Williams and Tiffany and Courtney Cooper; great-granddaughter, Jessalyn Moore; sister, Elouise Baker; special niece, Dedie Branch and husband, Wayne; many friends and relatives; and the Matthews Court family.
