Isabel McChesney, was the daughter of William McChesney (1714 - Apr 1779 in Paxtang). Isabel married Richard Fulton, on 14 Jun 1744 or Dec 1744, Rev. Jno Elder officiated.*

Isabel's husband Richard died testate between 11th and 30th of "Nov 1874," per his gravestone He wrote his will on 11 Nov 1774 and it was probated on 1 May 1775 in Paxton Twp., then in Lancaster Co., now Dauphin Co.


Also, Rev. J Elder married a Wm McChesney on 1 Jun 1752 to Esther (Say) Harris.

PAB believes Isabel was born 1714 in Dauphin Co., Pennsylvania (awaiting source). Dauphin Co. was created in 1785 from parts of Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania.


The Daughters of the American Revolution Lineage Book, #18, p 179 includes Mrs. Louise Audenreid Crosby, descendant of William Chesney, AKA McChesney, of Cumberland Co., Pennsylvania. He was the father of Isabel McChesney Fulton.
