William Loveless died after an illness of nine years. He was 89 years old.

He was a retired railroad employee. He was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church.

He was survived by his children, Grace Ping of Somerset, Kentucky, Rosie Ping of Somerset, Kentucky, Jessie Loveless of Somerset, Kentucky, Myrtle Mounce of Cedar Grove, Kentucky, and Dorothy Abbott of Eubank, Kentucky; his brother, Everett Loveless of Ferguson, Kentucky; his sister, Ida Smith of Illinois; 36 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cy Loveless and Nancy Jane (Brown) Loveless; and his wife, Ella Frances Loveless (married December 28, 1913 in Somerset, Kentucky).

Funeral services were held at the Pulaski Funeral Home with Brother Glen Edwards and Brother Alonzo Mitchell officiating.
