Sandra L. Knight, 65, better known as Sandra L. “Sandy” Bolden, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on Monday, Feb. 23 at 2:43 a.m. in Atlanta, Ga. Sandra L. Knight Born to Elton Leroy Hill, who preceded her in death, and Vivian E. Hill on March 31, 1949. She is survived by her loving mother, Vivian E. Hill; and her loving children, Jenifer M. Mayfield, Ebony L. Williams, Donny C. Green, Rosie (Tiffany) Green, Latoya M. Green, Donya E. Bolden and Tyrell J. Bolden; sisters, LaVella (William) Foster, Sheraline (Curtis) Charleston; and a host of other family and friends. She will be loved, missed, honored and remembered for her smile, laugh, compassion, loving and caring nature and is known to all as Momma, Aunt Sandy and most importantly, “our angel.” The visitation will be held from noon to 6 p.m. today, March 6, at Angelus Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at First AME Church. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery.
