Emma Ruth Steelman, 84, of the Woodville Community near Ripley, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2016 at Lauderdale Community Living Center. Visitation will begin at 11 AM Saturday at Garner Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley with funeral services to be held at 2 PM. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery near Gates.
Mrs. Steelman, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, was a retired seamstress for Halltex Corporation.
The widow of William Glenn Steelman, she is survived by a grandson Lee Brandon Wright (Cary) of Nunnelly and a great-grandson John Hayden Wright.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Glenda Wright.
