He was born on Sept. 29, 1917, in Wabash to George Monroe and Anna Olive (Reynolds) Lawrence. He married Mildred M. (Oxborn) Riddle on Nov. 22, 1978, in Cass County, Mich. She survives.
Formerly of Wabash, he moved to the Michiana area approximately 25 years ago. He retired as foreman of maintenance at Miles Laboratory, Elkhart, approximately 14 years ago. He was a member of the Edwardsburg United Pentecostal Church, Edwardsburg, Mich.
Also surviving are sons, Gary, Stanley, and Steven, daughter, Sandra Craft, stepdaughter, Donna Norris, and three sisters, Janet Miller, Gloria Allen,and Betty McKee.
