~AMELIA C. JENSEN DIES AT 85 AT RICHFIELD

Mrs. Amelia May Candland JENSEN, a long-time resident of Mount Pleasant, died Thursday morning at a rest home in Richfield following a long illness.

Mrs. CANDLAND was born in Mount Pleasant, November 12, 1869, to David and Ann Woodhouse CANDLAND. She spent her early life in Chester and after her marriage to Andrew M. JENSEN, moved to Mount Pleasant. Her husband died several years ago.

She had worked in the LDS Primary organization and was a member of the OSA club of Mount Pleasant and the Mount Pleasant Pioneer Historical Association.

Surviving are a brother, T. C. CANDLAND and a half-brother, Walter CANDLAND, of Mount Pleasant; also a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services and burial will be in Mount Pleasant, the time to be announced by Ursenbach Funeral Home.
