Born in Paris, KY, she was the daughter of the late John and Lizzie Maples Jacobs. She was a retired laundry clerk and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She is survived by two children, John White and his wife Shirley, and Shirley Lucas and her husband, Daniel; eleven grandchildren, Kathy Valentine, Vickie Nicholson, Jeannine Tharp, Theresa Brown, Susan Comer, Leonard Lucas, Danny Lucas, John Lucas, Greg White, Sheryl Thomason, and Johna Travis; fifteen great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces, including Mary Page. She was preceded in death by an infant grandson
