DAWSON SPRINGS,-Billy Don Cotton Jr., 36, of Dawson Springs, died at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at his residence. Information on the cause of his death was not known at press time.
He was born April 28, 1963, in Hopkins County, Ky.

He was a machinist with the Black & Decker Company, was a veteran of the United States Navy who served from 1984 until 1987, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hopkins County.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Don and (Joyce) Cotton Sr., of Dawson Springs; two sisters, Kathy Blank of Bakers City, Ore., and Sandra Kay Cotton of Boca Raton, Fla.; one niece; and two nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, with the Rev. Randall Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Dean Gardner, Murray Hall, Gary Hargis, Dan Smith, Bryan Harris, Mark Love, Cliff Love, and Steve Brown.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation Research Division.
