She graduated with the class of 1963 from Fayette County High School, and on October 12, 1963, she was united in marriage to Mr. James Franklin Hill. She graduated from McCollum and Ross hair school in Jackson worked at her own salon, Dianne's Creative Hair Styles in Bolivar, as a hairdresser for 32 years. Most recently, she worked for 15 years with Bolivar's Dixie Youth Baseball organization, keeping the score book and announcing.
She enjoyed yard work, flowers, cake decorating, catering, and playing with her Bunko club. She was a member at Parran's Chapel Baptist Church, where she worked with the children's program and the hostess committee, sang in the choirs.
Along with her husband, of 51 years, she is survived by her sons, Randy Hill and wife Trina of Bolivar, and Jeff Hill and wife Cris of Bolivar; brother, Mitt Claunch of Cloverport; sister, Henrietta Wilson and husband Barry of Collierville; and five grandchildren, Tyler Hill and wife Deanna of Toone, Dylan Hill of Bolivar, Trevor Hill and wife Mya of Bolivar, Anna Kate Hill of Bolivar, and Olivia Stanford-Hill of Bolivar.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Franklin Claunch and Jack Claunch.
