Bath -- Phyllis Helene Pecci, 89, of Bath passed away on Sunday September 12, 2010, of natural causes.

She was born November 17, 1920 in Lewiston, Maine, a daughter of the late Fred and Eunice Dennett.

"Phil" graduated from Lewiston High School in 1940 where she was a member of the Glee and Dramatic clubs. She then attended Pelletier''s Beauty School also in Lewiston, graduating after a nine month course.

Phyllis joined the United States Army, June 27, 1944 and served as an air operations specialist at Rearney, Nebraska and Merced, California. On January 18, 1946 she was honorably discharged with a Good Conduct Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and American Campaign Medal.

July 22, 1946 she was married to Paul T. Pecci. They lived most of their married life together in Bath.

Phyllis was an avid cat lover, enjoyed to knit, crochet, quilt, ceramics, and read romance novels. She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella.

Survivors include her husband Paul T. Pecci; a daughter, Anita M. Pecci; grandchildren, Jennifer K. Desisto and Chad L. Collins; great grandson Noah E. Greene; nephew, Phil Dennet and his wife Lori; niece, Sarah Muessig and her husband Hans and several great nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be held at All Saints Parish, St. Mary''s Church, 144 Lincoln Street, Bath on Saturday, October 2, at 10:00am.
