Funeral Service will Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Murphy Funeral Home; 1:30 P.M. Burial will follow in Rutherford Cemetery in Rutherford, Tennessee. Visitation will be Saturday, February 28, 2015, at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.
Mr. Amberg is survived by his wife, Mrs. Janice Marie Dillon Amberg of Dresden; his sons, James H. (Trey) Amberg III of Nashville and Brandon (Marcie) Roland of Memphis; his daughters, Renee A. Hovis of Nashville and Amy Bell of Atlanta; brother, John (Jack) (Sherry) Amberg of Houston, TX; sister, Jane (Phil) Woellner of Danville, KY; two grandchildren, Collin Hovis and Payton Roland.
Mr. Amberg retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and he was a member of South Fulton Baptist Church.
Mr. Amberg was preceded in death by his parents, James H. Amberg, Sr. and Barbara Kettler Amberg.
