Also known as Al Plunkett, was born February 15, 1949 in Wichita Falls, TX to Joe and Mary (LeNoise) Plunkett. He passed away February 24th in Apache at the age of 66.
Al worked as a butcher for Herb’s Grocery and the Apache Meat Packing plant. He also worked in the oil field and did construction before going to work as a paint contractor for Fort Sill. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by: His daughter, Christi Lynch, of Apache, OK
A granddaughter, Kylee Zenobi, of Lawton, OK
His mother, Mary Plunkett Vowell, of Fletcher, OK
He was preceded in death by his father.
Graveside services will be held Friday, February 27th at 1:00 P.M. at Fairview Cemetery in Apache with Brother Les Claborn officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Crews Funeral Home.
