Harold Wayne Middleton, 77, husband to Agnes Doan Middleton for 56 years, passed away February 24, 2015 in Lexington. He was born May 9, 1937 in Harrison County to the late Earl and Dorothy Fields Middleton.

He was a member of Connersville Christian Church, and a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of his own band the Kentucky Ramblers, a band in which he played in many places in the Harrison County area. He had several opportunities to play music professionally but being a husband and father was more important to him.

Along with his wife he is survived by his son, Cam (Shari) Middleton of Georgetown; grandchildren, Samantha (Brad) Hamilton and Aaron (Kita) Middleton; great grandchildren, Jonathan Hamilton, Kaylynn Middleton, and Dylan Harring; sisters, Odella Sowers of Georgetown and Wilma Duckworth of Cynthiana; special friends JD Crow and Bobby Lawson, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by her sisters, Beatrice Slade, Sylvia Duckworth, Tressa Ralston, and Bonnie Eckton.

Funeral services are 2pm Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Meadows officiating. Burial will be in Sadieville Cemetery with pallbearers being Barry Duckworth, Charles Todd Duckworth, Steve Hughes, Jan Southworth, Brad Hamilton, Carlos Sloan, Ken Wilson, & Woody White. Honorary bearers are Jonathan Hamilton, Kaylynn Middleton, Dylan Harring, Dottie Duckworth, Gary Fuller, and William Marshall. Visiting hours are 5pm-8pm Friday at the funeral home.
