CHESTERTOWN — Mildred R. Frazier, 86, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, at Albany Medical Center.

Born Aug. 4, 1928, in Pottersville, she was the daughter of the late George and Myrtle (Clipperd) Roblee.

Mildred was a resident of the Adirondack Tri-County Health Care Facility of North Creek for five years.

Mildred was an active member of the Chestertown Community United Methodist Church.

She had many different occupations during her life. She was employed as a switchboard operator for the local telephone company, answered the telephone for Barton-McDermott Funeral Home Inc. for many years, was a home health care worker, was a cook at the Chestertown Central School cafeteria and the Chestertown Head Start, worked at the Chestertown Laundromat and was a waitress at the Rising House and Poore House.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Donald Frazier; one brother, Edward Roblee; one sister-in-law, Violet Roblee; and one great-grandson, Tyler Matthew DeKalb.

Arrangements by the Barton-McDermott Funeral Home Inc., 9 Pine St., Chestertown.

Spring interment will be at Chester Rural Cemetery, Chestertown.
