Shirley L. Wickham, 76, of Earlham died Dec. 11, 2006, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
A memorial service was held Friday, Dec. 15, at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.
Shirley Wickham was born May 28, 1930, in Des Moines to W.H. and Virgie Lucille (McKibben) Brown. She grew up in Zearing and was a 1947 graduate of Zearing High School. She was united in marriage to Harold Wickham. Shirley worked in the banking industry for many years, including banks in Zearing, Ames and the Brenton Bank in Adel, from where she retired in 1986. She later worked for Iowa Power in the customer service department, retiring in 1992. She also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by one son, Steven Wickham.
She is survived by two daughters, Roxanne Rowe of Helene, Mont.; and Debbie Burrell of Tularosa, N.M.; two brothers, Bill Brown of Urbandale and Ed Brown of Windsor, Colo.; and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the CRISP program via the Winterset Elementary School.
