Dorothy "Dottie" Hutcheson, of Battle Creek, 79, passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 at Laurels of Bedford. She was born January 9, 1936 in Carrol, IA the daughter of Wilbur and Elverda (Bauer) Feld. Dorothy graduated from St. Phillip Catholic Central High School. She had worked as a bookkeeper at Battle Creek Flower Exchange. She was involved in the PTA and enjoyed working the annual elections. She loved the holidays and all the decorating that came with them. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Bonnie (Lindsey) Leonard, Norman "Bud" Hutcheson, Rodney (Sara) Hutcheson, and Ronald (Jodie) Hutcheson; brothers, John "Jack" Feld and Richard "Dick" (Linda) Feld; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Rosemary Meinke.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday at 11:00 AM at the St. Jerome Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Evilio Ramirez officiating. Burial will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Battle Creek, MI. Memorial tributes may be made to American Cancer Society .
