He joined the U.S. Navy serving during WWII on the U.S.S. Alabama.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday February 28, 2015 at the First Baptist Church , Cushing, OK. Rev. Keith Moore will officiate. Interment will follow (weather permitting) at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Highland Cemetery, Winfield, Kansas.
