Jay Robert Barker was the 8th child born to Thomas Henry and Ruth Valetta Johnson Barker. He was born in Victor Idaho. Jay never married. He was enlisted in World War 2 in March of 1949. He enlisted in the Fort Douglas Branch in Utah as a Private. He lived most all his life in the house in Victor where he was raised. He worked for the highway department for Wyoming all his life.
