Charlie G. Hamilton, age 81, of Deltona, Florida, formerly of Mableton, died May 13, 2006. A Navy Veteran of WWII, Mr. Hamilton and his wife owned Monteen's Women's Clothes. He also worked at Charles Ruff's Men's Store before moving to Deltona, FL, where he sold clothes for His For Menstores Father of the late Wayne Hamilton, survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Monteen Brownlee Hamilton; son, Carter and wife, Elizabeth Ross Hamilton of College Park; daughter-in-law, Donna Hamilton of Hampton; brothers, Forrest Hamilton of Rockmart, J.D. Hamilton of Villa Rica; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 Wednesday at White Columns Chapel in Mableton with Rev. David Brownlee, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 5-8 today at the funeral home.
