Lucy Kate Pitcock, 72, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at her residence in Bargersville.

She was born April 28, 1929, in Tompkinsville, Ky. Her parents were Ishom and Elizabeth (Pruitt) Monday. She married Wilburn R. Pitcock on April 23, 1949, in Glasgow, Ky. He survives. Other survivors include a son, Gary Wayne Pitcock of Indianapolis; three daughters, Pansy Canary of Whiteland, Penny E. Pitcock of Franklin and Cindy D. Mills of Mooresville; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, W. David Pitcock in 1996 and Timothy D. Pitcock in 1995; and 10 siblings.

She was a homemaker. She was previously employed as an assembler at Western Electric and Standard Brands.

She was a seven-year member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.

She enjoyed vacationing, gardening and shopping.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township.
