Funeral arrangements for Aurelien Primeaux, 68, of Mermentau will be announced by Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.
Services will be in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with burial in Hanks Cemetery.
Mr. Primeaux died 11am Friday at his home after a short illness. He was a native of Youngsville, LA., and was retired railroad bridge tender.
Surviving are his wife, the former, Mabel Sonnier of Mermentau; Six daughters, Miss Gwendolyn Primeaux and Miss Linda Primeaux, both of Mermentau, Mrs Johnny Linscombe and Miss Helen Primeaux, both of Crowley, LA., Mrs Curtis Sherry of Groves, Tx., Mrs Chester Guidry of Lafayette, LA., a son, Curtis Paul Primeaux of Kaplan, LA.; five sisters Mrs. Eraste Smith, of Broussard, LA., Mrs Fred Gates, and Mrs Virgil Foreman, both of Village Mills, Tx., Mrs Taylor Hicks of Houston, Tx., and Mrs Louis Boggs of McComb, Miss.; two brothers, John of Gretna's, LA., and Charles Primeaux, of Houston, Tx., and 16 grand children.
Preceding him in death are; his parents, Eusebe W. and Ena (Comeaux) Primeaux of Lafayette, LA.; and 4 brothers. Claude, Eusebe L., Roman and Lee. No sisters.
