LANETT - Mr. Gerald DeWayne Todd of Lanett, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2011 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Ala.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 17 at noon from O.H. Ministries in Lanett with Pastor Bertha H. Hodge, officiant, and the Rev. Michael T. Stiggers, eulogist. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Lanett.

Public viewing is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 16 beginning at 1 p.m. and culminating with family hour from 6 until 7 p.m. at Davis Memorial Mortuary, 305 W.F. Burns Drive in Valley.

Mr. Todd is survived by his loving parents, Janice and Jamie Heard of Lanett and William and Gwen Graves of Bologee, Ala; two daughters, Jasmine G. Todd and Alexis S. Todd both of Newnan; one son, Gerald Todd Jr. of Newnan; four brothers, Richard Todd Jr. of Clio, Ala., Patrick (Amanda) Hall of Mt. Hebron, Ala., Nicolas (Kim) Pelt of Sawyerville, Ala., and Antoine Heard of Lanett; two sisters, Amber Heard and Candace Heard, both of Valley; his grandmother, Barbara Barber of Lanett; four aunts, Gwendolyn (Joey) Dardy and Patrichal (Terry) Reed, both of Lanett; Carrie Merritt of Boligee and Cathy (James) Calhoun of Hartford, Conn,; eight uncles, Bobby J. (Ethel) Barber of Lanett, Floydzell Graves of Boligee, Anthony (Jackie) Barber of Montgomery, Michael Sands of Roanoke, Homer (Mildred) Heard, Willie (Virginia) Heard and Fob (Brenda) Heard, all of Lanett, and Bob (Susie) Heard of Montgomery; three nieces; three nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
