Let Me Win, But If I Cannot Win, Let Me Be Brave In The Attempt

James Robert Fagan, 66 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away, Sunday, February 22, 2015, at Heritage Health Care.

He was born on Saturday, May 24, 1948, in Hammond, La.
Jim was a special person who was dearly loved by his father, mother and brothers.

As all of you know when I entered your lives I never forgot you. I would always remember who you were and I never ever met someone that I didn't care for. I learned to swim, ride a bike, garden even through I didn't care for manual outside labor, but I did work out in the community and let people know that I could be an asset to society. I had a secret person that I had conversations with. When asked who I was talking to, I told them God. I always smiled and was a gentlemen with everyone I met.

I know that I was loved by all and taught my family and friends a lot about life and love.

Surviving are mother, Shirley Fagan Bardwell, brothers, Charles "Merl" Fagan and wife Jennifer Fagan and Thomas "Tom" Fagan and wife Gayle Fagan, niece, Laura Gill, nephews, Christopher Fagan and Chad Fagan, niece, Shanna Hossier.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dr. C.M. Fagan.

Friends will be received Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 9:00 am until Funeral Service begins at 11:00 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond.

Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery Mausoleum Hammond, Louisiana.
