Ivin Sandberg, age 96, of Las Vegas, passed away Jan. 29, 2015. He was born Oct. 19, 1918, in Washington, Utah, to Elmer and May Barlocker Sandberg. After high school, he served his country in the U.S. Navy. He married Marion Cobbs Dec. 27, 1945, in Las Vegas. Ivin is survived by his two daughters, Lynda (Bill) Kreitlow of Las Vegas and Paula (Kim) Larsen of St. George, Utah; a sister, Ora Milne of St. George; four grandchildren, Wade, Stacy, Sonja and Katrina; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, with funeral services following, both at the Parkdale Ward Chapel 4040 E. Wyoming Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89104. Burial will follow at noon at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
