Mrs. Effie Antrim Jones, 104, of Cleveland, MS, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Cleveland Personal Care in Cleveland, MS. Visitation will be will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February, 25, 2015, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will immediately follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February, 25, 2015, at Ray Funeral Home with Chaplain Larry Jones and Pastor Steve Holtz officiating. Interment will be in Old Cleveland Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones was born to George T. Antrim and Edie Quick Antrim on November 9, 1910, in Meltonia, MS. She married Charles E. “Casey” Jones. She was nurse for 25 years at Bolivar Medical Center, and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Greenville. After moving to Cleveland, she attended First Church of the Nazarene of Cleveland. More than anything, she loved her family and friends dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George T. and Edie Quick Antrim; husband, Charles E. “Casey” Jones; grandson, Keith Howard Sr.; sister, Nellie Weaver; and brothers George W. Antrim and Lee F. Antrim.

She is survived by her children, Joyce Pope (John) of Scott, MS, Doris Slater of Merigold, MS, Larry Jones (Joy) of Terrell, TX, and Roylene Moody (Ricky) of Merigold, MS; grandchildren, Reese Howard Jr., Natalyn Kaeding, Diane McClain, April Randall, Becky Stevenson, Al E. “Casey” Williams Jr., Sonya Ables, Donna Huck, and Terri Lord; fourteen great grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Moss, Chad Ables, John Paul Wilkerson, Scott Washington, Michael James, and Austin Adams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Thomas Henry Dixon and Ricky Moody.
