DR. HARRY B. KERN (B 1888-D 1972) son of Amandus, was a medical doctor who served the community of Slatington for many years. His home was at 856 Main Street. He was president of the school board and was an ardent supporter of athletic events in the Slatington area. He married Elizabeth Hopkins and they had three sons: Harry of Bethlehem, Dale of Florida and Donald of Bucks County.
