Captain Edward George Angelo, a retired Bridge Operator for the Corps of Engineers, died on Sunday, August 1, 2004 at the age of 75.

Father of Joylyn Angelo, Edward Angelo Jr., Maria Angelo Gutierrez, Raymond Angelo and Connie Angelo.

Son of the late Captain Edward James Angelo and Elizabeth C. Fruh Angelo.

Twin Brother of, Elizabeth ""Betty'' Landry.

Grandfather of Cassie Angelo, Britney Angelo, Claude Angelo, Kayla Smith, Megan Angelo and Isabella Gutierrez.

Mr. Angelo served with the Merchant Marines and was a volunteer for the St. Bernard Sheriff's Office for over 25 years.

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue Street, Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, August 4th at 2:00PM. Visitation will begin at 12:00PM.

Internment will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
