Howard H. Allen age 78 of Drasco died Saturday. The son of Emmett and Bertha Killion Allen he was a deacon and teacher at Drasco General Baptist Church for 54 years. He was a wonderful husband and loved his children. Mr. Allen was an educator for 42 years and taught and was a principal in the Drasco and Kansas City School Districts.
Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his parents Emmett and Bertha Allen, two brothers Dean Allen of Calico Rock and Kenn Allen of Drasco and a sister-in-law Mary Lou wife of Kenn.
Survivors are his wife of 52 years Alice Jane Allen of Drasco, a son Carl Michael Allen and wife Kelly of Madison, Alabama, two daughters Vickie Allen of Nashville, TN and Marsha Bowden and husband Scott of Mt. View, MO. Two brothers Artist Allen and wife Pansy and Junior Allen and wife Peggy both of Indianapolis, IN, a sister-in-law Linda Allen of Calico Rock, AR, 2 brother-in-law Ollie Davis and wife Diane of Heber Springs, and J. D. Davis and wife LaNell of Benton, 2 sister-in-law Mary Lynn Lincoln and husband Harold of Little Rock and Leota Flippin of Cabot. Six grandchildren Abigail Allen, Alicia Bowden, Andrew Allen, Anna Bowden, Ashley Allen and Amy Allen besides other relatives and many friends.
