Our beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Joshua R. Gilbert, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on February 19, 2015.
Josh was born June 25, 1981 in West Jordan to Jimmie Gilbert and Brenda Kay Bills.
Josh was kind and loving, and could constantly be found helping anyone in need.
Josh married Kathryn Ann Jones (legally separated); they have two children, Carson and Mason (Ty), and step-son, Hunter.
Josh was a loving and proud father – his boys were his greatest joy in life and he looked forward to the time he was able to spend with them.
We love you, Josh…Cowboy up.
Josh is survived by his father, Jimmie (Donna) Gilbert; mother, Brenda (Hal) Rosvall; brothers, Jimmie (Charlie), Joey (Bobi), Jeremy (Jamie), and Jeron; and sisters, Breanna (Cody) Burton and Brylie Rosvall; additionally, Josh is survived by eight step-brothers and step-sisters, their spouses, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2015 at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley Mortuary, 1007 West South Jordan Parkway (10600 South), South Jordan. Viewings will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and prior to the services on Monday from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Interment at the Riverton City Cemetery, 13200 South 1500 West, Riverton.
