Reynolds, Glenda Hobbs Glenda Hobbs-Reynolds, 52, passed away as gracefully as she had lived on Oct. 29, 2012, after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 28, 1960, in Huntsville, Texas. She was raised in Waco, Texas, where she was baptized at New Hope Baptist Church. Glenda was continuously grounded in her love and faith. She was an outstanding student at Reicher Catholic High School where she actively participated in numerous extracurricular activities including track and field and cheerleading, which ultimately led to her passionate appreciation of sports and competition. Glenda graduated in 1978 and continued her education at The University of Texas at Arlington. She graduated with a degree in business administration in 1982 and went on to pursue her dreams, which led to a flourishing career as one of the Southwest's most sought-after broadcast producers. On Oct. 12, 1989, she married her best friend and lifelong soul mate, Terence Ray Reynolds. Glenda will forever be remembered for her unbridled love of her beloved canine companion, Aspen, as well as sports, travel, youth mentoring, and anything the soothing pleasures of water had to offer. She always found room in her heart and soul to give back as an active member of Red Cross, Women in Film, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and many venues in support of education. She was a beloved producer within the Dallas broadcast advertising community and traveled extensively throughout this world with her husband of 23 vibrant years along with her parents, sister, and dearest friends. She is survived by her loving husband; her parents, Willie Hobbs and Barbara Houston-Hobbs, of Waco; her sister, Gayl Hobbs; brother-in-law, Conan Reynolds; godchild, Ashley Sampson; and aunts, uncles, and countless beloved friends and acquaintances. Glenda lived every day to the fullest with a smile in her heart and a song of beauty in her magnificent eyes. A memorial celebration will be held at 1 p.m. at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas, Texas on Sunday, November 4th.
