Annabelle Evans Taylor, 77, passed away Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003. She was born and passed in the Ozark area. She was married to the late C.E. "Chuck" Taylor and moved to Memphis, Tenn. Alto singer for the Evans Family Quartet, she shared her faith in Jesus Christ for many years throughout the midsouth. She is lovingly missed by her children Cheryl Jacoby, of Nesbit, Miss., William "Bill" Taylor and wife Jan, of Crozet, Va., grandchildren Danny and Lauren Taylor. She was preceded is death by her brother Herbert Dale and Wade F. Evans. She is survived by her siblings, Violet Cline, of Springfield, Mo., Marquetta Simmons and husband Ronald H., of Bristol, Tenn., and Dawna Grover and husband Marmon, of Springfield, Mo., as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and her precious "adopted" grandchildren at Maranatha Village Lodge Unit #2 in Springfield, Mo. Services will be 4 p.m. Saturday in Bartlett Funeral Home and Family Heritage. Visitation is 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Burial service is 3 p.m. Sunday in Glenfield Cemetery, New Albany, Miss.
