Donna Kathleen Newton, 67, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at Life Care Center of Bardstown. She was born June 6, 1947, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Donald and Mary Kathleen Hampton. She was a homemaker. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Newton.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael Newton (Diane) and Donald Newton (Tammy), both of Bardstown; two brothers, Gary Redick (Barb) of Dayton, Ohio, and Dale Redick (Patsy) of Arizona; eight grandchildren, Jacob Newton, Aubreanna Newton, Steven Newton, Lee Bowman, Jessica Merriman, Adriana Bowling, Achilles Newton, and Odysseus Newton; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Will Sipes officiating. Burial is in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
