Sharon Thomason, 77 of El Dorado, AR; died on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Courtyard Nursing Home. Sharon was born on August 2, 1937 in El Dorado; she was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in El Dorado. Sharon retired from Medical Center of South Arkansas after a long career in nursing with Warner Brown Hospital and Union Medical Center. Sharon 's caring and artistic nature showed in her career and love of animals, she also loved shopping at Wal-Mart.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mother Helen Bolding, an uncle Richard Lawrence and wife Cynthia and her husband of 10 years Bennie Thomason.
Survivors are a son David Hudson of Strong; a daughter Sherri Eigner (Eric) of Rowlett, TX, Stepsons Brad Thomason (Benita), Chris Thomason (Amy) all of El Dorado and a stepdaughter Cynthia Marie Daniells of Parkers Chapel, along with grandchildren Jerimiah Eigner and Cara Eigner; step grandchildren Colton Thomason, Tyler Thomason and William Sprayberry. Survivors also include an aunt Zulah Lawrence Coleman of Denton, TX, cousins Dr. Eddie Coleman (Carol) of Liberty Hills, TX, Louis Coleman (Pat) of Coalgate, OK, Zulynn Leverett (Howard) of Henderson, TX, Hugh Coleman of Flower Mound, TX; Robert Lawrence of Greenville, NC and Vicki Lawrence of Dallas, TX.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Al Womack officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until services at the church. Graveside services will follow at 2 pm at Wyatt Parnell Cemetery by Youngs Funeral Directors.
