Funeral Services were held Wednesday in the Fairview South LDS Ward Chapel for Vernal Neldon ANDERSON, 66, who died of cancer on December 31, 1971 in El Monte, California.
He was born on February 14, 1905 in Clear Creek, a son of Charles A. and Emma Jane Mower ANDERSON. He married Theresa SEVERS. They were divorced. He married Elma BERG on June 01, 1944 in Tijuana, Mexico. He was a fry cook and coal miner. He was a member of the LDS Church. He moved to California 30 years ago and returned to Fairview in 1969.
Survivors include his widow, Fairview; sons, daughters, Darryl, LaPuente, California; Beverly, El Monte, California; Dennis, Hanaiei, Hawaii; three grandchildren, brothers, sisters, George, Pocatello, Idaho; Allen, Sedona, Arizona; Lavon, Mrs. James (Hazel) ROBERTSON, Mrs. Charles (Rita) BROWN, all Salt Lake City; Merlin, Kenilworth, Carbon County; Mrs. Kenneth (Jeroma) SMITH, Pasadena, California; Mrs. Clifford (Mildred) THOMPSON, Inglewood, California; Mrs. Mitchell (Sitha) BURNSIDE, Mount Pleasant and Kenneth ANDERSON of Salt Lake City.
Burial was in the Mount Pleasant City Cemetery directed by Jacobs Mortuary.
