MANSFIELD: TIMOTHY LEE ROSE, 55, of Cocoa, Florida passed away February 20, 2015 following a lengthy illness.
Timothy was born on August 11, 1959 in Mansfield to Jackie and Marcella (Rose) Barnett. He graduated from Mansfield Senior High School. He loved spending time with family. Timothy was always friendly and never knew a stranger. He enjoyed spending his summers in Ohio on the boat at Pleasant Hill with family and friends. After retiring, he moved to Florida to enjoy the warm sun and the ocean. Timothy loved spending his days on the beach or at the lake with a fishing pole in this hand. His grandsons were his pride and joy. He enjoyed spending time outdoors with them and taking them to McDonalds for cherry pies after school.
He is survived by his mother, Marcella (Rose) Barnett; one daughter, Amanda (Keith) Williams; brother, John (Kristi) Rose; step-brother, Mark (Maggie) Barnett of Mansfield; sisters, Sandy (Jerry) Blevins of Mansfield, Laura Oakley of Cocoa, Florida; step-sister, Marilyn (Carl) Thompson of Mansfield; grandsons, Mason and Aiden Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jackie Rose; step-father, Arnold Barnett; and step-brother, Michael Barnett.
Calling hours will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral services will be Friday, February 27, 2015 at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Park, Lexington, Ohio.
